MBO’s Comprehensive Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

At Mind Body Optimization (MBO), we understand that seeking help for mental health challenges can be a daunting process. That’s why we’ve designed our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) to provide comprehensive, individualized care in a supportive environment.

With programs in Southlake, Fort Worth, and Plano, Texas, and new locations opening in Tennessee on July 1, 2024, and Texas on July 8, 2024, we’re committed to making high-quality mental healthcare accessible to those who need it most.

We invite you to join us as we create a healthier community — one individual at a time.

What is the Role of IOP in Mental Health Treatment?

An Intensive Outpatient Program is a structured treatment program that provides multiple hours of intensive group therapy and support per day while allowing clients to maintain their daily routines and responsibilities.

At MBO, our IOP is designed to help individuals struggling with mental health challenges find sustainable healing and improve their overall well-being.

How MBO's IOP Helps with Mental Health Conditions

Our IOP is equipped to treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression

Personalized Treatment Plan

Based on your assessment, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan that incorporates evidence-based therapies and modalities tailored to your specific needs, goals, and experiences.

Intensive Therapy

You’ll participate in daily group therapy sessions as well as psychoeducational groups, to address the root causes of your mental health challenges and develop effective coping strategies.

Our IOP focuses on helping you build practical skills to manage symptoms, improve relationships, and enhance overall functioning in daily life.

Ongoing Support

Throughout your time in our IOP, you’ll receive ongoing support from our compassionate multidisciplinary team of clinicians, each dedicated to helping you achieve your treatment goals and maintain long-term wellness.

From the day you enter your program, our team is working diligently to make sure that you are set up for success post-discharge from our services.

This includes working with you and our community partners to establish aftercare appointments that will benefit you long after your time with our program has come to an end.

Treatment Opportunities

At MBO, we specialize in a range of evidence-based treatment modalities to ensure that each client receives the most effective care for their unique needs.

Some of the key modalities we offer include:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):

CBT helps clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to mental health challenges.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT):

DBT focuses on helping clients develop skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT):

A goal-oriented approach that helps clients identify and implement solutions to their problems to create positive change in a short period of time.

Motivational Interviewing (MI):

MI is a client-centered approach that helps individuals explore and resolve ambivalence about change, enhancing motivation for treatment and recovery.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT):

ACT helps clients develop psychological flexibility and learn to accept thoughts and feelings without being controlled by them.

Trauma-Focused Therapies:

We offer a range of trauma-focused therapies to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences, including PTSD therapy and trauma-focused CBT.

Family System Approach to Treatment:

We recognize the importance of family support in the recovery process and incorporate family therapy to strengthen relationships and promote healing.

For a well-rounded treatment approach, we will also integrate whole-person wellness opportunities such as art therapy, meditation, and targeted stress management techniques.
