Erika Torres, APRN

Advanced Practice Provider – Franklin

Erika Torres is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong dedication to women’s mental health. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University in New York City, graduating magna cum laude. In 2012, she and her family relocated to Tennessee, where she pursued her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University, completing her degree in 2023.
Erika has accumulated extensive clinical experience, including roles at various local hospitals and the state psychiatric hospital, where she worked as a Registered Nurse before transitioning to her role as a PMHNP at Pinewood Springs Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital. Her professional interests encompass psychotic disorders, mood disorders, and perinatal mental health care.
 

Outside of her professional life, Erika enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, often engaging in board games and visits to the park. She is also an active member of her church community, where she takes pleasure in volunteering and contributing to various church activities.
